I admit, I lost my way with the playlists towards the end of last year but I have vowed to keep them up this year. After all, I am completely hooked to Soundcloud so it is only fair to share my findings with you all.
I am currently experiencing major wanderlust which isn't helped by the minus 5 temperatures outside at the moment. So, this month, I have been on a mission to find music which reminds me of lying on a sunny beach somewhere and I have complied my favourite tunes into a playlist.
Perico Princess has appeared on previous playlists and I am a big fan of her music. I love the whole Latin, bad girl vibe that she has. She is so bad ass. Yasmin Kadi is a new discovery for me but I am totally addicted to her music. Not a day has gone by this month without listening to her music.
A&J have also been featured on MDLM before, one half of the music duo has at least. Andre Mckie is a model, singer and actor who I had the pleasure of interviewing one cold November evening five years ago when the blog was in its infancy. Since that day I have been following his career and his latest song My Love is making me even more excited about my holiday in Tenerife next month.
To conclude, the playlist would not be complete without Karen Rodriguez who has taken some of my favourite chart songs and turned them into Spanglish covers. Her voice is incredible and I can practice my Spanish at the same time. Result.
