HOLA TENERIFE

And, as if by magic, I find myself living in Tenerife once again. After a weird ol' year of so called 'finding myself' and taking a step back from everything I have spent my entire life working towards; it is safe to say that I am now back in a place I belong.

It has been a tough year full of ups and downs and many tears have been shed along the way but I finally feel as though I am on the right path once again. First, I would like to apologise for the lack of posting these last few months but the truth is, I really hate what the blogging industry has become and for the same reasons I left the fashion world, I took a long break from blogging. However, the truth is I do miss it and I have come to the conclusion that I will carry on with the blog, but on my terms. I just really hate how fake the industry has become and it seems that now all you need to do to be a blogger is be insanely beautiful. rich and have a team of wardrobe, make up and photo assistants at your beck and call (which FYI I don't have). I work full time, travel a lot and take all  my photos myself, which 6 years ago, when I started out was fine and in my opinion is more real. I get so bored of seeing model like girls all over my Instagram feed promoting clothes they have been given, I want to see real girls documenting their lives whom are a real inspiration for other women. There is a whole lot more I could call out on about blogging but I shall save that for another day.

So, blogging on my terms it will be. This, boys and girls will be a real insight into my life, and a great way for me to document the process of moving abroad, this time for good. Although I won't be blogging everyday, I will try my hardest to keep the blog going with weekly content so that there is some what of a rhythm. But for now, I will not be stressing over a blog calendar, Instagram follower numbers, or pageviews. Instead I hope to offer you all a taste of island living and show you what a paradise this little island really is. So, bye bye blog world and hello Grace's world.

Think of this post as more of an introduction to a new Moda de la Mode and keep your eyes peeled for more content coming soon.
