With a presentation in which a messy bed style situation took centre stage, Martine Rose drew her inspiration from sportswear and showed a collection of loosely tailored looks with flourishing touches of lace and ruffles.
Focusing on a streamlined colour palette of black and white with some hints of colour, the subtle trims gave the pieces a lift and exposed the focus Martine Rose had on stereotypes of masculinity. With most designers focusing on silhouette when crossing the lines between men's and women's wear Martine Rose took a new angle of traditional masculine cuts finished in the most feminine way.
