Currently in my History of Art class I am studying Surrealism with the main art figures being Salvador Dalí and Magritte. After watching a TV show about the art movement, I discovered that Salvador Dalí did not just stick to art but moved into all sorts of areas such as fashion, jewellery and architecture amongst many other areas. I just thought I would share with you some of the most interesting ans surreal things mentioned.

How cool! We're studying surrealism in my art history course, too. We just read about Salvador Dali, and his inspiration stemming from Freud's work.
ReplyDeleteWe had to watch this really messed up film called "Un Chien Andalou" and it was SO weird. Did you guys have to watch that? I don't know if it really sat well with me. I like some surrealism work, both this was just not for me. It's like 15 minutes long, you can find it on Google if you're interested!
