Fyodor Golan, the first show of fashion week for the Moda de la Mode team, was an array of summery colours and intricately crafted textures. Honeysuckle yellow, powder blue and dresses that looked as if the colours had been painted onto the surface formed the foundations of the collection.
Sheer layering a theme that arose time and time again at New York fashion week, appeared in many guises during the Fyodor Golan show. Bomber jackets, crop tops and high waisted skirts all made from delicate silks and organzas that exposed the model's body were layered together. The clean cut, crisp lines contrast fully with the gossamer like fabrics creating a modern but ethereal look.
The detailing united the looks and created focus points for each outfit. Smiley faced sequins embellished crop tops, adding texture and an electrifying yellow colour to an already deliriously upbeat collection. Once again the design duo have created a collection that is commercially minded whilst still holding on to their original roots. There is something for everybody in this collection.
