I discovered Stephanie Grace Foy when I attended the Tell Us Fashion Launch Party at the end of last year. She was one of the select few designers, chosen to show their collections on the catwalk at the grand Porchester Hall location.
Her first collection (Hedonism), the look book of which I have blue tacked to my bedroom, is a mix of dark, gothic colours and feminine, sensual fabrics. It draws the eye in to all the intricate details and beautiful techniques used and really makes you appreciate the skill and passion behind the Stephanie Grace Foy brand.
Her latest collection for SS13, which is also exceptionally beautiful, has been shot underwater and portrays an ethereal, dream like state of being with models captured in a state of magical trance. Keeping the characteristics of the Stephanie Grace Foy aesthetic (unusual fabrics, tailored fit and flowing, lightweight skirts), this collection offers a lighter, pure image that would look perfect on anyone from Florence Welch to Jessie Malakouti.
There is no doubting the immense talent of Stephanie Grace Foy. These photos are proof that the creativity and passion that Stephanie possesses are the recipe for her success. This lady is sure to go far... watch this space.
