Menswear Monday: Joseph Turvey

Originally from Shropshire, Joseph Turvey has recently graduated from the London College of Fashion with an MA in Fashion Design Technology. His design aesthetic takes inspiration from traditional menswear tailoring and surface design, fusing these together to create a unique look and style. His experimental outlook, especially in the fields of print and texture have brought him under the radar of industry insiders allowing him to showcase his work at Graduate Fashion Week, Vauxhall Fashion Scout and work with the eccentric designer Louise Gray.

His prints challenge the traditional concepts of menswear and revolutionise the way we see certain garments such as a white shirt. Inspired by British Heritage, with characters such as Miss Marple being cited as his muse, Joseph Turvey delivers a collection bursting with life and colour. Styles, themes and decades clash together in a concoction of fuchsia lace and yellow gingham as Joseph Turvey injects a shot of zest into your spring/summer wardrobe.

Which looks will you be wearing this season?
