Moda de la Mode Makes...A Shirley Temple

As we enter knee deep into the party season, our evenings are spent either entertaining guests at events or being entertained at the latest launch party or gathering. It is such an exciting time of year, there is the build up to Christmas and all the parties that go with that, the fashion world embraces it's glamorous side with embellished garments and everyone is preparing their winter menus, filling their homes with lots of treats to comfort them through the cold winter months.

To celebrate the fact I attended my first ever fashion launch party on Monday, this week's DIY project has a little twist to it. Instead of going with the obvious DIY of embellished dresses or a glamorous clutch bag, I think the perfect DIY is...how to make a Shirley Temple.

I have been drinking this cocktail for as long as I can remember and it is just heaven in a glass. It is the perfect combination of a refreshing drink that also provides a much needed sugar boost before a night of partying. It takes two minutes to make and the best thing about it is that it doesn't contain any alcohol.

You Will Need:
1 Mini Can of Canada Dry
1 Measure of Grenadine
Maraschino Cherries

1) Pour one measure of Grenadine into a glass

2) Add the can of Canada Dry

3) Garnish with two Maraschino Cherries skewered onto a cocktail stick
4) Enjoy
