Moda de la Mode Makes...A Birthday Headband

Every girl must have something new and lovely to wear on their birthday. For the third day of birthday celebrations on Moda de la Mode I have put together a birthday special fashion DIY. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make your own bead encrusted headband that you can wear for our 1st birthday celebrations tomorrow.

It is super easy to make and doesn't break the bank but the result is stunning. It goes so well with everything and you can use it to dress an outfit up or down depending on the occasion. It takes less than an hour to make so you will be ready for the party in plenty of time.

Here is how we made it:

Ribbon
Elastic
Beads
A Shape of Fabric on which to sew the Beads
Thread
Needle
Scissors
Glue (We used a glue gun for extra strength)

1. Sew the ends of the ribbon to the ends of the elastic making sure that it is the right measurement for your head
2. Sew the beads onto the fabric using a needle and thread
3. Glue a line down the centre of the fabric
4. Stick it to the ribbon making sure that it is the the place you want it to be
