Hunting the Hidden Dimension is the latest collection from hairstylist Takis Pitsillides.
The collection was presented at Vidal Sassoon Brook Street in the form of a catwalk show. 11 models took the stage, myself included, and showcased the new collection to senior members of the Vidal Sassoon team.
The collection takes on a dark and mysterious tone which is clearly portrayed through the sharp, angular cuts and rich monochrome palette. Inspired by the science documentary of the same name, Takis explores the world of fractals and recreates these irregular, repeating shapes with hair.
As I had been growing out my pixie cut for almost a year, Takis decided to make the most of my curls and created a short,triangular bob which gave my hair lots of volume. Colour was then added to the underneath layers to exaggerate the texture created by the curls.
