Orlebar Brown took the theme of the Monaco Grand Prix and based their Spring Summer 2014 collection around the the energy and excitement that surrounds this prestigious event. Monaco is a principality of wealth not just financially but also culturally which is something that fits with the Orlebar Brown design aesthetic. Bright, rich reds and oranges ran through the entire collection be it in the form of colour blocking or mixed up in an intricate pattern on a pair of swim shorts.
To play on the theme of the Monaco Grand Prix, a winners podium had been set up outside the store with models standing tall at 1st and 2nd place. Inside the store palm trees and a bar serving an endless supply of summery drinks gave the presentation a holiday feel making it easy to forget the stress of city living.
The collection is a playful experimentation of colour and pattern that fits the wardrobe of the modern man.
