TWELVE Beauty

Being a natural born English rose, I have been blessed with pale, sensitive skin. Hooray! Lucky me! Not only does this mean that most make up bases make me look an unhealthy shade of orange, it also means that a lot of skin care causes my skin to become itchy and uncomfortable. This combined with late nights, London pollution and bad eating habits means that my skin is always in need of a little TLC.

As a result, I tend to stick with the products that I know and trust. Increasingly however, this skin type appears to be becoming the norm and I am seeing more and more brands cater specifically to this type of skin. REN were the early trailblazers but Burt's Bees and now more exclusive brands like TWELVE are allowing for this trend to become the mainstream.

TWELVE, created by cosmetologist, botanist and pharmacist, Pedro Catalá is a skincare range based around 12 key ingredients, hand picked for their protective and restorative qualities. All the ingredients are eco approved and of course, are completely free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, petrochemicals and glycols all of which are found in most everyday products but actually have potential links with cancer.

Apart from being amazingly good for you, TWELVE's products feel great on the skin and they definitely give it a healthy glow. Their range consists of everything a girl (or guy) could need for their daily beauty routine from cleansing cream that purifies the skin to an essential biotechnological moisturiser which doubles as a superb make up base.

After a month of using this range of products morning and evening my skin feels nourished and revitalised just in time for fashion week.
